A single home for a cause
Most platforms make you choose: raise money, or gather signatures. We didn't think that made sense. A community fighting to save a clinic, stop an unfair eviction, or support a family after a disaster often needs both funds and public pressure — so on HopeOrigins, a Cause can do either, or both, on one shareable page.
Built for South Africa
We launched here first: ZAR pricing, Paystack for local card and EFT payments, and a verification process built around South African ID and banking documents. As we grow, the same platform will support other markets and payment providers.
Accountable by design
Every cent is tracked in an append-only ledger, every payout goes through identity verification, and every signature is confirmed by email. We'd rather be slower and trustworthy than fast and reckless with other people's generosity.
