Verified before payout
No one can withdraw funds without completing identity verification (KYC), reviewed manually by our Finance team. Bank details are checked before the first payout.
Secure payments
Every donation is processed by Paystack, a PCI-compliant payment gateway. HopeOrigins never sees or stores your card details.
Confirmed signatures
Every petition signature is confirmed by email before it counts, so totals reflect real, verified support — one signature per email.
Moderated content
Anyone can report a Cause, comment or update that looks misleading, offensive or fraudulent. Our moderators review every report.
An open ledger
Every rand raised is tracked in an append-only ledger, from donation through to fee, tip and payout — nothing is edited after the fact.
